In a Perfect World there is Origins!

I received my complimentary Influenster VoxBox from Origins, and I am also excited to have been asked to join the new product launch of their, A Perfect World Collection.™ This invite includes the ultimate pampering experience with a free mini-facial using products from this new collection. I"m excited about the new product collection, and  free mini-facial, and to discover my destiny with, Tasseography, the art of interpreting patterns with tea leaves, a Tea Leaf Reader, now how cool is that!  I can't wait to  put the product claims to the test for you guys. If you would like to join me for a little pampering and a zen moment, just click on the link below, and I will see you there!

Book Now, time is running out!

Now, I don't know about you, but, I have never heard of Silver Tip White Tea. So, here is a quick video by Origins that provides some basic information on the subject:

Now for the unboxing, of my Voxbox! I received five samples from the Best Sellers Skin Care collection: Checks & Balances, A Frothy Face Wash; Ginzing Eye Cream, A Refreshing Eye Cream; Ginzing Moisturizer, A Lightweight Oil-Free Moisturizer; High-Potency Night-A-Mins,  A Mineral-enriched Renewal Cream; and Clear Improvement; A Purifying Charcoal Mask, all came within the Origins VoxBox.

The Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash

The Checks and Balance active ingredient is Tourmaline (Yes, a gemstone from Sri Lanka!), along with Broad Leaf Kelp Extract, and Wheat Protein to discourage excessive oil production and brighten. It is has a fragrance that reminds me of a scent from childhood, and when I looked into the ingredients, low and behold, it was the aroma of Bergamot, an ingredient in the hair pomade my Mom put in my hair when I was a girl, that with a hint of Spearmint and Lavender. So, I'm digging the back home vibe the wash is giving me. The Wash reminds me of a white pearlized Caress. A little goes a long way with the Wash, even with the .5 fl./.oz. liq./15 ml sample size, it will last for quite some time. The Wash left my face feeling super clean, now the claim is that this frothy wash is best for combination skin and doesn't leave your face feeling tight, but for my combination skin this was a bit much, it did indeed feel tight, but the visible difference in my pores and fine lines was seen in one use! That is a big bonus in my book!

GinZing Eye Cream & Enegy-Boosting Moisturizer

Now for the refreshing GinZing Eye Cream and Energy-Boosting Moisturizer. The active ingredient in the eye cream and moisturizer is, none other than, Coffee; with the help of, Panax Ginseng, Magnolia Extract and natural optic brighteners, and for all you coffee lovers such as myself, this eye cream is refreshing just like a fresh pot of coffee, pun intend! Lol! This Zingtastic eye cream does depuff tired eyes, but due to hyper-pigmentation, I really am going to have to use this product as a part of my skin routine in order to see a brightening affect. The real question is, did it refresh my tired eyes as claimed, as a matter of fact, it did! With the same amazing ingredients as the eye cream, the Energy-Boosting Moisturizer is lightweight and oil-free, which is great for my combination skin. It really is  light-weight, which didn't do quite enough to combat the dryness or tightness in my skin from the wash and the clay mask. In my opinion, it is better suited for someone who has oily skin. Moving right a long!

High-Potency Night-A-Mins

All I can say about this vitamin-packed and mineral-rich night cream is, ooh its so good! This Night Cream is fortified with resurfacers that are time released, so it renews your skin while you sleep and moisture-rich replenishers that refresh the skin. My skin felt instantly moisturized and balanced. Out of the items I was sent, this product is my favorite! Now for my least favorite.

Clear Improvement

The active ingredient of  Bamboo Charcoal along with, White China Clay, and Lecithin acts to clear pores, absorb environmental toxins, and dissolves impurities. This product reminds me of Loreal's clay mask in texture and consistency. My skin just couldn't tolerate this mask. I thought it was because I exfoliated in the morning before I received my VoxBox, I watched a Influenster's video on the proper order of application, and used that method, but it was still a no! No worries, I will address this concern with the Origins staff at my mini-facial, in hopes of finding something more suited for my skin.  I had high hopes for this product, but what doesn't work for me, may work for you. I feel this is a product is for someone with less sensitive skin or oily skin.  Be sure to check the website for details and the ingredients list to make sure these products will work for you.

The bottom line is, do I recommend these products, Heck Yes, I do! These products are meant to used together to get the maximum results. My skin feels super clean and balanced, a perfect canvas for my motd.  Even though there were some items that I was on the fence about or just won't use, the others exceed my expectations.  I highly  recommend you visit Origins' user-friend, artistic and beautifully designed website for products that are designed for your specific skin type. I especially liked the beautiful images on the Discover Our Ingredients page. All you would need is Spa Radio on Pandora and those images and swear you're at a luxurious spa. I found the information on the gemstone Tourmaline, a stone from Sri Lanka, fascinating. The site is pack with informative information as well as serene and upbeat videos. You should check it out, the link is above. Thanks again Influenster and Origins for this wonderful VoxBox, so I can say I got it free!
